Samsung stops selling 4K Blu-Ray players in the US

Samsung just stopped selling 4K UHD Blu-Ray players in the US.

It could be a sign that the company will completely abandon releasing new Blu-Ray players and will soon go the streaming way.

Oppo Digital did the same last year, I do hope this will not became a trend.

Streaming services are fine but we still think there are many BD collectors our there that do care about image quality.

As much as we would want, streaming quality will not have the same image quality as a native 4K UHD Blu-Ray disk played by a dedicated 4K Blu-Ray player.

Samsung may completely retire from all global markets in the coming month, we will wait and see.
